Father’s Day gives us a chance to recognize the importance of the Father figure in our lives. It gives us a chance to recognize the sacrifice and importance of father in everyone’s life.
This Father’s Day, which is being observed on the third Sunday of June, we have decided to raise awareness about Parental Alienation (PA). PA is when a child shows withdrawal symptoms for the distant parent, when a child refuses to contact the distant parent. The situation develops when the custodian parent teaches their child to lie with the distant parent.
In most child custody cases, withdrawal symptoms are common in children, when the child is brainwashed by their custodial parent. Parental alienation affects the overall development of the child as it affects the mental and sometimes physical health of the child.
So for the overall development of the child, they need the love and care of both the parents. Also, the involvement of both parents in the upbringing of children makes them more confident and socially comfortable.
